Almaty in 4 Days: A Mountains & Nature Itinerary for 2026

Morning: Arrive at Almaty International Airport (ALA). Take a Yandex taxi (around 3,000 KZT, ~$6) to your hotel in the Zhetysu district. Check in and rest.

Afternoon (14:00–16:00): Walk to Panfilov Park (10 min). See the Zenkov Cathedral (wooden, no nails). Free entry. Then stroll through the Green Bazaar (Zelyony Bazaar) for local snacks and dried fruits.
